Carney Lansford

Carney Ray Lansford (born February 7, 1957 in San Jose, California) is a former third baseman in Major League Baseball and is currently the hitting coach of the San Francisco Giants. Lansford, who played for the California Angels (1978-80), Boston Red Sox (1981-82) and Oakland Athletics (1983-92), batted and threw right-handed.

In record time, the Upper Deck Company has secured training camp photos of the most-talked-about player in the NFL – newest Minnesota Vikings signal-caller Brett Favre – and will have him appear in his new purple color scheme as early as next month. A short-printed card showing him during his first practice with the Vikings on Wednesday, August 19, will appear in 2009 NFL SPx, which is scheduled to hit store shelves on Sept. 15.
