Ferguson Fergie Jenkins never received the fame that he deserved. Jenkins had 284 victories- six consecutive 20-win seasons combined with 200-plus strikeouts. He also pitched more than 300 innings five differnet times- and is high on the all-time strikeout list with 3-192. Ferguson led the league in strikeouts in 1969 and also in wins during the 1971 and '74 seasons. Ferguson was named an All-Star twice in his career ('67 & '71) before retiring in 1983.
