Led by Bill Bradley- Willis Reed- Earl Monroe- Walt Frazier- Dave Debuschere- Dick Barnett- Jerry Lucas and Henry Bibby- the NY Knicks clinched the Championship against a team that stole it from them the year before. The Knicks reversed their fortune from the previous year and defeated the Lakers 4 games to 1. WIllis Reed was selected as the Finals MVP for his leadership and contibutions throughout the playoffs.
