In 1973, the Knicks once again took a trip the NBA Finals where they found the Los Angles Lakers waiting for them. Led by Bill Bradley, Willis Reed, Earl Monroe, Walt Frazier, Dave Debuschere, Dick Barnett, Jerry Lucas and Henry Bibby, the NY Knicks clinched the Championship against a team that stole it from them the year before. The Knicks reversed their fortune from the previous year and defeated the Lakers 4 games to 1. WIllis Reed was selected as the Finals MVP for his leadership and contibutions throughout the playoffs.
