Eric Keith Davis (born May 29, 1962 in Los Angeles, California) is a former center fielder for several Major League Baseball teams. Davis was 21 years old when he broke into the big leagues on May 19, 1984, with the Cincinnati Reds, the team for which he is most remembered. Davis actually began his professional career as a shortstop, but after committing 35 errors during his first season in the professional ranks, he was on the verge of being released. It was then suggested that he be moved to center field and his career flourished.

Bryan Bartlett "Bart" Starr (born January 9, 1934 in Montgomery, Alabama) is a former professional American football player and coach. Wearing #15, he was the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers (1956-1971) and the MVP of the first two Super Bowls. He earned four Pro Bowl selections and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1977. The son of an Air Force NCO, Starr played High School football at Lanier High School in Montgomery, Alabama, where he earned a spot in the school's Hall of Fame, college football at Alabama, and was a 17th round pick (200th overall) in the 1956 NFL draft. After his playing career, Starr was the head coach of the Packers for nine seasons (1975–1983), compiling a 52–76–3 record.

In record time, the Upper Deck Company has secured training camp photos of the most-talked-about player in the NFL – newest Minnesota Vikings signal-caller Brett Favre – and will have him appear in his new purple color scheme as early as next month. A short-printed card showing him during his first practice with the Vikings on Wednesday, August 19, will appear in 2009 NFL SPx, which is scheduled to hit store shelves on Sept. 15.

The Upper Deck Company will be releasing an impressive Draft Edition Basketball trading card set in July, one in which many of this year’s top lottery picks will be appearing complete with autographed inserts. Panini America announced the details of the exclusive card set being provided to all VIPs at the 30th National in Cleveland this summer. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of 1989 Score, so Panini America produced a six-card set in the same style as the company's famous inaugural launch.
