Proceeds Go to Baseball Assistance Team (B.A.T.)

Timonium, MD, August 27, 2005 – American and National League workout uniform jerseys, issued to all players, coaches and managers at last month’s All-Star Game in Detroit and personally signed by them, will be offered individually as part of the next auction from Geppi’s Memorabilia Road Show, concluding October 27, 2005.

The jerseys, authenticated through Major League Baseball’s authentication program, include jerseys issued to more than 60 players including Alex Rodriguez, Roger Clemens, Vladimir Guerrero, Johnny Damon, Mariano Rivera, Manny Ramirez, Ichiro Suzuki, Mike Piazza, Albert Pujols, and Derrek Lee.

All proceeds from the auction of these jerseys will go to the Baseball Assistance Team (B.A.T.), which provides funds for needy former players and members of the baseball family.

“B.A.T. does wonderful work and we are pleased to be able to facilitate this special auction and help to fund their efforts,” noted Steve Geppi, president of Geppi’s Memorabilia Road Show.

Bobby Murcer, Chairman of the Board of Directors for B.A.T. and a founding officer with Geppi’s Memorabilia Road Show, helped to facilitate the project.

“We are delighted to again work with Geppi’s Memorabilia Road Show on this auction to help raise funds for members of the baseball family in need,” said Ted Sizemore, President and CEO of B.A.T.

The auction, by phone, fax and email, will also include the Bert Padell Collection, one of the largest single consignor auctions since Barry Halper, the Stanley Weston-Toby Weston Cone Collection of boxing memorabilia, which at one time made up the Boxing Hall of Fame in old Madison Square Garden, and consignments from Orioles great Brooks Robinson.

Geppi’s Memorabilia Road Show is unique in obtaining all consignments directly from sports insiders, notably players, their families or their representatives, or those who worked in the industry.

The company is headquartered at 1966 Greenspring Drive, Timonium, Maryland 21093. The telephone number is 877-ROAD-SHW. (877-762-3749). The website is www.geppismemorabiliaroadshow.com.
