Alexei Valeryevich Yashin (born in Sverdlovsk, USSR, now Yekaterinburg, Russia, on November 5, 1973) is a professional ice hockey player who plays for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the Kontinental Hockey League. Prior to this he played for the New York Islanders and Ottawa Senators clubs of the National Hockey League, from 1993 to 2007.
