Jermaine Terrell Dye (born January 28, 1974 in Vacaville, California) is a right fielder in Major League Baseball for the Chicago White Sox. He went to school at Cosumnes River College. Dye has also played with the Atlanta Braves (1996), Kansas City Royals (1997-2001), and Oakland Athletics (2001-04), joining the White Sox prior to the 2005 season. He bats and throws right-handed and is known for his ability to hit for power and his powerful throwing arm.
