Michael Singletary is the current head coach for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. He spent his entire playing career as a linebacker for the Chicago Bears after starring in college at Baylor University. While with the Bears, Singletary was known as "The Heart of the Defense" for the Monsters of the Midway in the mid-s. His nickname is "Samurai Mike". Singletary was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
