Terry Thomas Allen, Jr. (born February 21, 1968 in Commerce, Georgia) is a former American football running back in the National Football League. In the 1990 NFL Draft he was selected in the ninth round by the Minnesota Vikings. During his three season career with the Vikings he gathered 2,797 rushing yards with 23 rushing touchdowns. After Minnesota, he joined the Washington Redskins and wasting no time in his first year, he ran over 1,000 yards with 10 rushing touchdowns. During the 1996 season, his second with the Redskins, he gathered 21 rushing touchdowns; only 9 other running backs ever rushed for over 20 touchdowns in a single season.
